Louise Gardiner Hall, 87, died in a local hospital on January 16, 1996.
She was born May 30, 1908 in Salt Lake City to Richard Arthur and Claire Midgley Gardiner. She married Edward T. Hall on June 15, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 3, 1985.Louise was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and an active member of the LDS Church serving in many capacities. Taught elementary school for many years. Member of an Australian Missionary Group that met monthly for over 60 years.
Survived by son, E. Thomas Hall, Jr. and his wife Coleen, Salt Lake City; daughter Linda Kemp and her husband Jim, Logan, Utah; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brother Richard Gardiner and wife Peggy of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by two sisters; Mildred Lund and Shirley Coombs.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 1996 at the Grant 4th Ward Chapel, 1111 East Charlton Avenue (2800 South). Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and at the ward Friday from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
