Edward Sewell 1856 - 1922

Edward Sewell was the first husband of Emma Florence Western (1860 - 1935) who married John Rudolph Bachman in 1926, four years after the death of Edward.  In the 1880 census he is a mail carrier and in later censuses he is a farmer.  Edward died in 1922 of cancer of the stomach.

Stomach cancer is often either asymptomatic (producing no noticeable symptoms) or it may cause only nonspecific symptoms (symptoms which are not specific to just stomach cancer, but also to other related or unrelated disorders) in its early stages.
