Active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having a firm testimony of the restored gospel, she served in numerous callings, including teacher in the MIA, Sunday School, Primary and Relief Society where she served in several leadership positions. She and Gordon served as senior missionaries in the California Anaheim Mission, 1984-86. She was a saintly woman who cheerfully met the challenges of life with an indomitable spirit. Despite fifty years of polio-imposed paralysis, she performed beautifully her family and church responsibilities.
