Glenn William Goodman Of Yuba City, passed away January 3, 2011 the age of 63. He was born in Marysville and lived in the Yuba/Sutter area almost his entire life. After serving his country for four years in the United States Air Force, Glenn graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and then worked as an accountant. His most recent job was Business Manager for the Appeal-Democrat Newspaper from 1999 to 2009. Glen was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a church mission as a young man. He later served the Lord in many different callings, including Home Teacher, Ward Clerk, Scoutmaster, Stake Computer Specialist, Auditor, Family History Center Director, and Bishop. Glenn lived up to the promise of his name - he truly was a Good man. He leaves his family a legacy of love, honor, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Johanna Goodman and 7 children: Benjamin Thomas (Holly) Goodman of Ridgecrest CA, Matthew James (Stacy) Goodman of Pleasant Grove UT, Nathaniel David (Heather) Goodman of Yuba City CA, Jessica Goodman (Daniel) Woodward of Pleasant Grove UT, Daniel Nicholas Goodman of Roseville CA, Jonathan Howard (Amber) Goodman of Sacramento CA, and Andrea Goodman (Nicholas) Sandoval of Yuba City. Glenn and Johanna have 13 grandchildren: Tabitha, Miriam and Gideon Goodman of Ridgecrest CA; Talmage, Brynn, Elly and Miles Goodman of Pleasant grove UT; Natalie, Alyssa, Conner and Ethan Goodman of Yuba City; Preston Woodward of Pleasant Grove UT; and Shayla Goodman of Sacramento CA. Glenn is also survived by 2 brothers: Grant Goodman of Live Oak CA and Ron Goodman of Orem UT, as well as his sister: Gloria Goodman Ericksen of Logan UT. He was preceded in death by his parents: William Whiting and Lucy Shumway Goodman and a brother: Marvin Goodman. A memorial
